The Franschhoek Wine Tram
The tram through the valley, a few estates, and the town when you are done.
The Wine Tram is the unhurried way through Franschhoek: an open carriage, vines at the shoulder, and estates you step off for. It is not a private car for those hours, so we book the tram, and the chauffeur bookends the day from Cape Town.
How the day runs
We drive you out, put you on the line that suits the estates you care about, and collect you when the last stop is done. Tell us if you would rather taste little and look a lot.
